VFX Artist

Your role would be to work closely with our content teams on creating stunningly looking of VFX assets for our game environments. You will be working directly with art director and content leads on developing art vision of FX.

Your background should include great artistic skills, deep understanding of VFX creation in modern AAA titles or similar fields - movies, cartoons, and postproduction. Your experience of working in game industry on similar goals and good understanding of VFX creation pipeline would be a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Create the in-game FX systems to create a wide range of VFX (smoke, explosions, fire, water, etc.)
  • Work with Art Director to establish and drive the art vision of the game
  • Ensure the FX meet the performance and memory requirements of the game engine
  • Provide feedback on developing VFX pipelines and tools
  • Participate in planning and milestone delivery for the FX
  • Work closely with concept art department on creating VFX assets
  • Work with multiple cross-functional groups on various deliveries
  • Complete all tasks in a timely manner and to a consistent high quality standard
  • Directly responsible for adhering to all company policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Technical knowledge of how to create real time FX in game engines (UE4, Unity, CryEngine, etc.)
  • Self-motivated and goal oriented person
  • Mature approach to problem solving and understanding of professional working ethics.
  • Good communication skills, proven ability to work in a team
  • Good at creating eye catching real-time FX using Max/Maya and in-game FX systems
  • Capable with both hand painted and rendered texturing skills
  • Basic grasp of the principles of animation and lighting

Will be a plus:

  • Experience in real-time engines (CryEngine, Unreal engine, Unity, etc.);
  • Previous experience as VFX artist or similar position on AAA title is a big plus
  • Technical art background with VFX problem solving
  • Experience in how to make game scene looking cinematic and artistically stunning
  • Experience authoring rendered VFX in packages such as the Maya/Max or Houdini

Technical Artist

Goals:

  • Investigating ways to improve visual and/or performance quality of game's rendering pipeline
  • Setting up engine's configuration and content budgeting for different hardware specifications
  • Working with Art and Programmers RnD Groups to produce high performance content visuals
  • Writing technical documentation
  • Coordinating with the other Studio Groups to achieve project objectives

 Requirements:

  • Understanding DirectX 11+ (OpenGL 4+, Metal) rendering pipeline and shading process
  • Knowledge of common rendering techniques (Forward/Deferred Shading, Ambient Occlusion, etc..)
  • Understanding CPU/GPU Profiling
  • Experience using CryEngine and/or other game engines suitable for creating AAA games
  • Knowledge of computer graphics (image coding, compression, rasterization, etc..)
  • Knowledge of linear algebra
  • Confident user of one or more Digital Content Creations Tools (3D Max, Maya, Zbrush, Cinema4D, Blender, etc..)
  • Ability to read and write technical documentation in English
  • Self-driven, responsible and detail-oriented person
  • Passion for computer games
  • Ability learn, investigate and adapt new technologies into game content creation process
  • Strong passion for making AAA games

 Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience in other scripting and programming languages (Python, Lua, JavaScript, C++, etc.)

QA Engineer

We are looking for a Game Client QA Engineer. You will be involved in process of game feature creation from the very beginning until release and launch it in production; help programmers, designers, animators and artists create high quality features and assets; create and execute complex high and low-level test scenarios with automation scripts.

 Responsibilities:

  • Develop, update and automate test cases
  • Improve automated frameworks including the coding of reusable components and functions
  • Work with development team to provide AAA product quality (gameplay and game engine related functionality)
  • Help in delivering high-availability and improving game performance
  • Create and maintain test cases and other QA documents
  • Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs

 Requirements:

  • Good technical understanding and high interest in the field of testing
  • 3+ years of experience in game dev.
  • Experience of work in game development engine
  • Knowledge of client-server application working principles
  • Passion for video games and software quality
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with Jenkins, P4 (Git),
  • Proven experience in Test Planning, execution, tracking tools, preferably JIRA.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

  • FPS player

Environment Artist

We are looking for an Environment Artist who has passion for creating 3D game environments.

Your role is to work on full pipeline of environment assets starting with finding references and finishing with final tweaks in the game engine. The range of work may vary from simple props to entire level. Meaning that, you should have an artistic view, sense of forms and weights, as well as a keen eye for details. Optimization would be your last but not least stage of your work, to make your assets as cheap and good looking as possible.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years in game development as 3D artist
  • Deep knowledge of 3D modelling software (3D studio Max or/and Maya)
  • At least one shipped product as Environment Artist
  • Proven experience to follow up art direction making various environment assets (props, building, vegetation etc.)
  • Ability to read and write documentation on English
  • Good communication and writing skills
  • Passion for making top quality games
  • A quick learner

Will be a plus:

  • Proven knowledge of Substance Designer/Painter
  • Traditional/digital painting skills
  • Experience of working on first person shooters
  • Knowledge of major game engine (CryEngine, Unreal, Unity or similar)

Animator

Your role would be to work on creating animations (keyframe ant motion capture based) for our characters, weapons, and environments. You will be working directly with our animation lead and various content teams on developing best quality assets for our game. Your background should include great animation skills, deep understanding of character motion and rigging, the ability to create rich and believable character behaviors. Your experience of working in the game industry on similar goals would be a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality keyframe animations for characters and weapons
  • Work with mocap data to convert it into great looking in-game assets
  • Collaborate with programmers and designers on implementing new features
  • Assist in solving animation related technical challenges
  • Create simulation based animations

Requirements:

  • 3+ years in game development or similar area as an animator
  • Deep knowledge of 3D software (Maya/Motion Builder)
  • Shipped products as an animator
  • Good understanding of technology and its limitations
  • Proven ability to accept feedback and follow direction

Art QA

Art QA is a bridge between art, tech art and tester team, making sure that the art content and related features are correspond to all the requirements and follow project's constraints. Your position is to support environment art and tech art team in achieving top quality results within tech requirements and limitations.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the environment art team on creating content and bringing it into the engine.
  • Support artists in regard to assets performance and validation.
  • Review assets and identify opportunities for improvements.
  • Offer technical support to the art team in their workflow.
  • Help to maintain and improve art creation pipeline, tools and extensions.
  • Solve challenging technical issues in the environment's content pipeline.
  • Work in collaboration with artists and testers to forecast and mitigate in-game content issues.
  • Inspire art team to optimize their work.

Requirements:

  • Solid knowledge of 3ds Max.
  • Experience in the environment art creation (current- next-gen) pipeline and excellent understanding of optimization procedures.
  • Stong understanding of PBR principles.
  • Good communicational skills.
  • Ability to work with technical documentation.

Would be a great plus:

  • Knowledge of Substance Painter/designer.
  • 3ds max Script language.
  • Real-time graphics render pipeline (forward/deferred render)
  • Knowledge and interest in shading, lighting, scripting.

Engine Programmer

We are looking for Engine Programmer to join our R&D department.

Engine Programmers are responsible for new engine features development related mainly to graphics. They should be able to solve issues related to AAA game engine features development in C++ programming language. In close cooperation with Game Designers, Content Creators and Gameplay Programmers they should work on implementing new game engine features.

Goals:

  • Develop new game engine features related to graphics, audio, physics, and other engine subsystems
  • Develop custom materials, shaders, perform modifications and optimizations of existing engine graphics pipeline
  • Work with Game Designers, Content Creators and Gameplay Programmers in order to develop brand new game engine features
  • Write technical documentation and developer guides

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of C++ Programming Language experience (C++11 standard and higher)
  • Object-Oriented Design principles and patterns knowledge
  • Solid understanding of STL
  • Algorithm design and analysis skills, understanding the significance of algorithms complexity
  • At least 1 year of experience in render programming

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience in Desktop/Gaming Software development
  • Deep Experience in modern computer graphics APIs (DirectX, OpenGL, Vulkan, Metal) and render programming
  • Knowledge of game engines architecture

  •   C++ Programming Language (at least of C++11 standard)
  •   Solid understanding of STL
  •   Algorithm design and analysis skills, understanding the significance of algorithms complexity
  •   Strong Object-Oriented Design and Analysis principles and patterns knowledge
  •   Strong network programming knowledge
  •   Cope profiling and optimization experience

Preferred Requirements:

  •   Experience in Desktop/Gaming Software development
  •   Knowledge of Qt framework
  •   Knowledge of other scripting and programming languages (Python, Lua, etc.)
  •   Experience in at least one of modern game engines usage and/or game modding experience
